FAVO is a two-story building located in the center of Yoshida Campus, with a cafeteria with three corners (Bakery, Box Lunch, and One Plate Restaurant) and a multi-purpose room with a mini store on the first floor, and a bookstore and workshop with a support counter on the second floor. On the second floor, there is a bookstore and a workshop room with a support counter, making it a small but complex facility.
To make the facility accessible to everyone, signs are in both Japanese and English, and the bookstore on the second floor has staff that can speak English.
We have set up terrace seating here and there, as well as community boards, to facilitate interactions. We are currently planning to gather FAVO Ambassador Staff to organize events in this facility.
We would like to thank the university corporation for their understanding and support, and the directors, student committees, staff, co-op staff, and members for their cooperation in creating this facility 21 years after its establishment.

The welfare facility FAVO, which opened on October 1, 2019, was named after the English word “favorite” with the hope that it would become everyone's favorite. The name “FAVO” is also connected to the purpose of this facility as a building that symbolizes the diversity campus. We reflected the spirit in the design so that FAVO will become a second home on campus for all elements of the university and the local community.
