英語版生協案内発行によせて
東京大学には現在、３千人近くの留学生が在籍しています。近年は、国際化を目指す大学の方針もあって、日本語の話せない留学生も増加しており、そうした方にもきちんと生協を紹介する必要性が高まっています。これまでも、生協の公式サイトに英語による簡単な案内はありましたが、文字だけで見づらい、そもそも留学生が生協のサイトにアクセスすることはまずないなど、多くの課題を抱えていました。そこでこの度、入学手続き等でも配付できるように、新しくパンフレットを作成することにしました。一般の新入生・新入大学院生には、学生生活一般に関する手引きや生協の案内を載せた冊子を配付していますが、それを全て英訳するのは困難である上に、果たしてその内容全てがちゃんと読まれるのかが疑問です。そのため今回は、生協の概要、加入・脱退手続き、店舗マップといった最低限の内容をまとめました。これによって、一人でも多くの留学生の方が生協に加入して下さればと思っています。

Our membership
Most students and many teaching staff/administrators join our Co-op. The entry price is based on member investment, so we hope you will take the time become a member of this system. In order to join, a refundable deposit for Co-op shares is requested. (40 shares at 16,000 yen). Deposits will be

学生のほとんどと多くの教職員の皆様が当生協に加入しています。事業は組合員の出資を基盤としており、皆様にも是非この機会に組合員になっていただきたいと思います。加入には生協への出資金が必要です（40口、16,000円）出資金は卒業時に全額返還されます。

Application procedures
How to join the Co-op
Please come to our offices with
1. Cash deposit (for Co-op shares)
2. Identification card (to certify that you study or work at UTokyo).
One share is 400 yen. We request you to pay 40 shares: 16,000 yen.
# Deposits are the foundation for running our Co-op.
# All deposited shares will be returned in full when you leave the Co-op. (See below)
After the application form is completed, you will receive your membership card.
加入方法
以下のものをご持参の上、当生協の窓口にお越し下さい。
１．出資金
２．学生証（東大に在籍していることを証明するため）
出資金は1口400円で、皆様には40口16,000円をお願いしています。
※出資金は生協運営の基礎となります。
※出資金は卒業時に全額返還されます。（下記参照）
申込書にご記入いただいた上で、組合員証を発行します。
How to leave the Co-op
When you graduate, transfer, or retire from UTokyo, your full deposit will be returned. The time for return procedures is
March Graduates: from March 1
Other cases: when you leave the university
In order to leave the Co-op, please come to our offices with your membership card.
脱退方法
卒業・異動・大学の際は、全ての出資金が返還されます。返還手続きの期間は、
3月に卒業される方：3月1日から
その他の場合：随時
脱退の際には、組合員証ご持参の上、当生協の窓口にお越し下さい。
